Vomiting and diarrhoea happen within fifteen minutes of consumption. Also, because the seeds have an enjoyable taste, there is a possibility of a greater effect on the health of children, "Srinivas cautioned about the evergreen tropical plant with thin stems.Thirteen members of Banjara (nomadic) community who were hospitalised at Kollegal taluk health center in Chamarajanagar were released in a day.
